Tired drywall, builder-grade carpet, basic baseboards. We primed, painted in a custom sage, swapped to wide-plank laminate and re-trimmed the room top to bottom.

No. On-site estimates within our service area are free. We’ll measure, take notes, and follow up with a written quote.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Ottawa Zain Construction Inc. carries liability insurance and operates as a registered Ontario corporation. We can provide a certificate before any work begins.
How long does a typical kitchen renovation take?
Most kitchen renovations run 3–6 weeks depending on scope, cabinet lead times and whether structural changes are involved. We give you a written timeline before we start.
Can you handle waterproofing in winter?
Exterior excavation work is weather-dependent, but interior waterproofing, sump pumps and crack injection can typically be done year-round.
Do you pull permits?
When the work requires a City of Ottawa building permit, yes — we handle the application and inspections as part of our scope.
How do payments work?
A reasonable deposit on signing, progress payments tied to milestones, and a final payment on completion after walk-through. Everything is laid out in the written contract.
